the girls!!

they really had a good time with the HUGE rawhide we found for them! jade would run it into doorways trying to move it from one room to the next...it was rather entertaining! she has gotten a little better at dropping the toy so it can be thrown and she can even catch it from time to time, if she really concentrates!! they have been enjoying their summer, i'm pretty sure!! jade is still confined to the laundry room while we are away...she lost her privileges when she destroyed my Bible and ate a remote, which instilled panic in mom who overreacted and took her to the emergency vet, on july 4th mind you. all to find out that she didn't swallow the battery (which began the panic) that jason found under the couch the next morning...nice one jade!! oh well, she is safe...but i am not sure about her destroying a Bible, i am betting that we are going to have to pray heavily for her to get her golden bone in doggie heaven :)

on to new endevors

well...i am sad to say that the kiddie pool the girls play in during the summer months has seen better days. i try and duct tape the cracks for one more dip in the pool for the girls...but once they step in the pool and start to play around...more cracks show up! so, they play in it until the water eventually seeps out, time to look for a new pool :) but, to the pass the time until the new pool comes, tess has found an alternative water sport to keep her entertained...look and see:

i know, i know...

i tell myself all the time to stay up to date with this blog...and i still am months behind :) the girls have been playing outside a lot lately...and they stay in the yard really well, we do keep our eye on them for the most part!! we have been going for walks around the block and at the park. the best part about the walks is how tired they are when we come home, they sleep for a good couple hours and are pretty calm for the rest of the evening. they have even been playing nice with children :) here is a video of tess entertaining Solomon (a friend of our's little guy):
